Batman has finally married Catwoman

The world of comics is a very interesting area to explore, since alternate stories can be told that are not necessarily canon and lend themselves to interesting points of view. Such was the case of a wedding between Batman and Catwoman in 2018, which in the end turned out to be fake, but it seems that the authors of DC have decided to compensate the decision.

In issue #12 of Batman/Catwoman we see this pair finally reunited, something that many fans around the world have been asking for for years from different editors and artists. In fact, the writer of this edition, Tom King, was going to release this very important fact from 2020, but it had to be delayed due to the pandemic issues that arose.

According to King and Mann's Batman/Catwoman #12, in Gotham you can marry a guy dressed as Batman, Vegas style. So in a somewhat impromptu call, Bruce asks Superman and Lois Lane to be his last-minute witnesses, and the delighted couple speeds along to set up long-awaited event.

Some people don't consider these events to be canon, after all it's the last issue King had planned for his series, and there's a new one in circulation right now by another writer. However, it is considered a nice gesture that the superhero is finally given a worthy ending within a timeline that can be considered as an alternative.
