Route 224 is an area by which the players will pass on their first visit to Victory Road. Near the end of the tunnel that spits you at the Entrance of Singh Elite Four, you will see an entrance to a completely different area.

This is the path that takes you to Route 224. Unfortunately, it will be blocked by a NPC that will not let you pass. To move, you should not only beat the Singh champion, but you must also get the national Pokédex of Professor Oak. Once this is done, the road will no longer be blocked.

Keep in mind that, at this time, areas such as Sea break Path and Flower Paradise on Route 224 can not yet be achieved without any problem. These will be available later than part of the Oak Letter event element.
