Stable Solbakken: Erling Haaland in front of enormously important choice

Sturmjuwel Erling Haaland by Borussia Dortmund is stronger in the light of his upcoming future decision in the Norwegian football national team than usual. "He must make an enormous choice and is under a pressure that only a few can understand," reported National coaches Stale Solbakken, who once stood at the 1st FC Cologne under contract.

One must therefore have "extreme understanding" that Haaland would probably retire around the international matches against Slovakia and Armenia.

Solbakken spoke of an "extraordinary situation" in which Haaland must be protected. "Every word and sentence he says would be twisted, but also the translation would be something speculative," he said, "I do not want to do that as if that was no problem - because that's it."

Haaland (21) may leave the BVB in the summer against a fixed transfer fee. The most likely goal is Manchester City, where his father Alf-Inge once played.
